Selected candidates will soon be able to give the suite a real world test run and provide their feedback and opinions!
DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Shoutouts Become Part of CRESA's Engagement System
CRESA expands its engagement capabilities with dedicated Shoutout services, production-path Simulation Lab testing and the early foundations of AI-assisted content.
CRESA continues expanding its viewer and creator engagement capabilities with the introduction of dedicated Shoutout support. Rather than treating Shoutouts as another generic alert, development begins establishing a dedicated service responsible for handling the feature and its interaction with the wider CRESA runtime.
Simulation Lab is connected to the live Shoutout service as part of this work, continuing an architectural principle introduced elsewhere in the suite: controlled testing should use the real production pathway wherever it can safely do so. This allows development and testing to exercise the same underlying Shoutout machinery intended for real broadcast use instead of maintaining a separate imitation purely for testing.
Work also begins on an CRESA-hosted AI provider, establishing an early foundation for intelligently generated or assisted content within supported broadcast experiences. At this stage, both systems are still developing. The important step is architectural: Shoutouts are becoming a first-class part of CRESA's engagement ecosystem, while the suite begins exploring how intelligent services can support broadcast features without each feature needing to implement those capabilities independently.
As CRESA grows, this separation between shared infrastructure and individual presentation experiences will become increasingly important.
