DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Shared Alert System Foundation Takes Shape
CRESA gains the foundations of its shared alert system, introducing common event models, queue management, Twitch event normalization and the first local alert API.
Development moves into one of CRESA's first major systems: alerts and engagement events. Rather than building each stream alert as an isolated feature, work begins on a shared foundation capable of receiving events, normalising their data and passing them through a common queue and presentation system.
Early components introduced during this work include shared event models, central queue handling, Twitch event normalisation and a local HTTP interface for the alert runtime. The first shared browser presentation infrastructure also begins taking shape, establishing the connection between CRESA's backend event handling and the visuals ultimately shown inside OBS.
At this stage the system is still foundational rather than a finished alert experience, but an important architectural decision has been made: CRESA's alerts will operate as parts of one coordinated system rather than a collection of independent overlays. That foundation will go on to support the more advanced alert routing, presentation modes and bespoke alert experiences developed later.
