DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

CRESA's Local Control Architecture Expands

UPDATEPUBLISHED

CRESA begins expanding beyond its early alert foundations with a unified local API, Windows runtime tooling and the first Viewer Controls integration.

CRESA begins expanding beyond its initial alert foundations as work turns toward a broader local control architecture. A unified local API starts bringing previously separate capabilities under a common runtime, establishing a central route through which CRESA's different systems can communicate and be controlled.

Windows runtime tooling is also introduced, providing an early foundation for launching and operating CRESA's supporting services as a coordinated system rather than a collection of manually started components. Development also begins on Viewer Controls, exploring how external viewer interactions can be passed safely into CRESA's local environment and ultimately influence supported broadcast features.

Privacy handling is introduced alongside this work, reflecting an early design principle that external interaction should not automatically mean unrestricted access to the broadcast environment. This marks an important step in CRESA's evolution: the project is beginning to move from a collection of individual streaming features toward a coordinated broadcast platform operating alongside OBS Studio.
