DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Control Centre Becomes a Proper Operator Workspace

UPDATEPUBLISHED

Control Centre expands far beyond its original shell with dedicated health, Simulation Lab, settings and feature-control surfaces, bringing more of CRESA's production workflow into one native interface.

More Than a Status Screen

The previous Control Centre work had established the shape of CRESA's operator interface, but August 29 pushed that idea much further. Instead of simply exposing information about the Suite, Control Centre began taking ownership of more of the work required to actually operate it.

Dedicated Health & Diagnostics and Simulation Lab areas were brought into the native Control Centre, creating clearer places to inspect CRESA's condition and exercise production systems without jumping between unrelated tools.

Sessions and Settings Move In

The next stage introduced proper session and settings support. This gave Control Centre a stronger understanding of its own operator state and began moving configuration away from scattered controls and into a consistent CRESA-owned interface.

Validation feedback was also tightened so incorrect or unavailable settings could be surfaced to the operator instead of silently failing.

Features Become Directly Controllable

Development then moved beyond monitoring and configuration. Feature actions and dedicated dialogs were wired into Control Centre, allowing more parts of the Suite to be operated directly from the Dock.

A native Customise workflow also began handling presentation assets from inside CRESA itself. This was another step away from treating Control Centre as a launcher for external tools and toward treating it as the place where broadcast configuration actually happens.

Building the Cockpit

The rest of the day focused heavily on the experience of using the Dock. Action feedback, button behaviour, icon motion and visual structure were refined so the interface could communicate state without becoming noisy or difficult to read.

By the end of the work, Control Centre was no longer simply the shell introduced during its earlier phases. It was becoming a genuine operator workspace, combining monitoring, testing, configuration and production controls inside one increasingly unified part of CRESA.
